We Value Our Partners in Internal Empowerment

We are grateful for our partners, who help us continue to offer Self-Awareness, Soft-Skills Enhancement and other services. Without them, we could not achieve our goals of facilitating internal empowerment in individuals, families, organizations, and communities and paying it forward to extend its reach.

William Glasser Inc.

William Glasser, Inc. is devoted to expanding and maintaining Dr. William Glasser’s ideas and legacy, which has a worldwide following. We join them in this effort to teach Choice Theory®, Reality Therapy, and Lead Management.

We join the organization's efforts in pursuing the above and collaborate with the President of the organization, Carleen Glasser, to provide certification training, based on William Glasser Institutes standards. Our organizations are leading countless people to becoming certified through William Glasser Institute. Additionally, we promote and sell his 21 books and other teaching materials.

Our collective efforts enable us to teach “Choice Theory to The World,” using Internal Empowerment, the practical application of Choice Theory.

Comfort for the Hurting

President Anne-Marie Lockmyer and her company provide comfort for the hurting, through essential training materials, to address Truly Helping Anyone in Grief and a practical guide on how to respond to persons grieving.

The company’s leadership shares its knowledge through public speaking, writing, and working with groups and individuals on grief recovery and healing.

We join forces with Comfort for The Hurting and are producing training, coaching, and academic materials to merge Internal Empowerment and Comfort for The Hurting’s principals and practices. These efforts are negating the negative effects of grieving.

Glasser Institute for Choice Theory-US (GIFCT)

The William Glasser Institute was renamed and rebranded in 2018. Their new name is “Glasser Institute for Choice Theory-US” (GIFCT).

GIFCT provides Choice Theory as a universal system for empowering individuals and improving relationships. Developed over 50 years ago by Dr. William Glasser, its effectiveness has stood the test of time and possibilities for continuing application are endless.

Choice Theory® is based on the simple premise that every individual only has the power to control themselves and has limited power to control others. Applying Choice Theory allows one to take responsibility for one’s own life and at the same time, withdraw from attempting to direct other people’s decisions and lives. Individuals are empowered to take responsibility for their choices and support others in taking ownership of their choices. Negative behaviors reduce in frequency and intensity, relationships strengthen and satisfaction in life increases.

Internal Empowerment’s is proud to state that their “Take Charge of Your Life” course was selected to be the flagship course for the launch of GIFCTs newly banded company in 2018.

California Association of Marriage and Family Therapist (CAMFT)

The CEPA program was created to set a standard for continuing education by incorporating the BBS’ CE regulation requirements and best practices from other highly-regarded programs.

A CAMFT CEPA Committee evaluates CE providers based on the standards set forth in the two-part CEPA Program Manual. Part one of the manual, titled Guidelines for Provider Approval, specifies the criteria providers must meet to obtain and maintain approval. Part two of the manual, titled Policies and Procedures, serves as an instructional guide for sustaining the CEPA program.

The CEPA Committee monitors adherence to the Guidelines for Provider Approval through the initial approval, annual update reports, and a formal first-year and subsequent three-year review process.

Internal Empowerment, Inc. received its initial approval as a provided for CAMFT in 2018, and now enjoys its first three-year approval beginning 2020.
