California Board of State and Community Corrections’ Standards approved IECAST, Inc. as a “Provider”

Laguna Hills, CA, October 15, 2015

IECAST’s CEO, Les Triché (formally Johnson), announced that the California Board of State and Community Corrections’ Standards approved IECAST, Inc. as a “Provider” to teach the Internal Empowerment Coaching program to correctional staff and offenders.

Mr. Triché stated, “This approval enables IECAST to work in collaboration with local corrections systems to improve the professional competence of local corrections staff in California.”

The key responsibilities of the State Board include:

  • Establishing minimum selection and training standards
  • Administering the Corrections Training Fund
  • Monitoring for compliance with standards
  • Developing core training curricula for entry-level staff
  • Administering a training course certification process
  • Providing program support and technical assistance to local corrections systems
  • Providing training in selected curriculum

Internal Empowerment Coaching and Scripture Therapy (IECAST, Inc.) is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization, devoted to providing educational services based on Reality Therapy, Choice Theory, and Internal Empowerment principles and practices.
