Practicum
Graduates of the Choice Theory® Reality Therapy® Basic Intensive Trainings proceed to the second step to the certification process. Using the skills from the Basic Intensive Training, you will apply and demonstrate the skills that you learned in the Basic Intensive Training. We come together monthly to participate in a Practicum.
This Practicum consists of a minimum of 30 hours with a Practicum Supervisor (Les Triché). During the Practicum students practice the application of Choice Theory Reality Therapy. Our Practicum is focused on applying Choice Theory Reality Therapy to current events. A few of our recent Practicum topics include: “How ‘Choice Theory Reality Therapy’ plays a vital role in racial justice,” “Choice Theory: Does it Really Work?” and “Using Choice Theory: A better way to address challenges.”
